ITINERARY:

 

DAY 1 – ARRIVE NAIROBI

Welcome to Kenya.

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.

The rest of the day is at leisure to take an optional visit to the Giraffe centre, a unique setting where you can feed the Giraffe from an elevated platform.

Or you have the option of enjoying a truly unique dining experience at the Carnivore restaurant as a huge variety of meat is served freshly roasted from Masai swords straight to your sizzling plates.

 

DAY 2 – ONTO SAMBURU

Today travel north to the Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy the backdrop of the red table top mountain 'Lololokwi' and lying on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro river. The reserve will captivate you with its dramatic landscape and wildlife. On arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.

Enjoy wildlife safari in Samburu National Reserve (Private).

Today keep your binoculars handy for a late afternoon wildlife safari and spot elephants, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, Beisa oryxes, gerenuks and the endangered Grevy's zebras.

DAY 3 – SAMBURU

Enjoy spending another day in the African bush with morning and afternoon game drives to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. The park is famous for some distinctive species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blud-legged Somali Ostrich.

DAY 4 – SWEETWATERS

This morning, drive to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary arriving in time for lunch. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Tented Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury.

Afternoon game drives - cum - visit to the rescued chimpanzees'- and black rhino's sanctuaries. The beautiful Sweetwaters Tented Camp lies in the heart of this privately owned 24,000 acre ranch with magnificent views across the wildlife- studded plains to the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. Host to all the members of the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

DAY 5 – LAKE NAIVASHA

Today, travel to Lake Naivasha National Park, the only fresh water lake within Africa's Great Rift Valley, famous for its vast flocks of exotic bird life, hippos and fish. On arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.

The rest of the day is at leisure or you can take an optional tour to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the famous flamingos and hundreds of other species including the magnificent birds of prey.

DAY 6 – MASAI MARA, HERE WE COME

This morning, travel along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, famous the world over for its staggering variety of wildlife and seasonal wildebeest migrations. Upon arrival, check-in to the lodge.

Later after lunch in afternoon, embark on game drive in the reserve. The park is covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia; hazy forested hills and reverie bush where the Mara river and its tributaries meander. A spectacular scene to be seen at least once in a lifetime is the annual migration of hundreds of thousands of zebra and wildebeest from the bordering Serengeti, not forgetting the predators that move along with them. This reserve is famous for gazelles, antelopes and a variety of birds. The lion, elephant, cheetah and leopard are also found here.

DAY 7 – MASAI MARA

You can start your day by a spectacular hot air balloon ride followed by a bubbly bush breakfast as an optional tour.

Late afternoon, set out on a game spotting safari in the reserve, where you will have an opportunity to spot Africa's 'Big Five' - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and the Cape buffalo. Enjoy watching some stunning landscapes of the savannah as you go on this game drive in a vehicle with a pop-up roof.

DAY 8 – RETURN HOME

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

  • Cost of US $ 2,50,000 granted by the Reserve Bank of India under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme.
  • Any increase in the airfare / taxes / routing charged by the airlines for ticket.
  • Cost of extension of validity or deviation of your air ticket.
  • Any increase in rate of USD leading to an increase in Tour Cost coming into effect prior to departure. However, the rate prevailing on the given day of payment will apply. (presently calculated at INR 68)
  • Porterage at hotels, airports and seaports, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the touring group's menu.
  • Medical test and Premium cost of your Overseas Travel Insurance policy valid for passengers above 70 years of age.
  • Cost of your overseas Travel Insurance policy valid for the duration of the tour for passenger's upto the age of 70 years
  • Porterage at hotels.

IMP NOTE:

  • A part of your tour price will be taken in USD from your LRS as per RBI / GOI regulations.
  • For two adults and two children (both under 12 years) rooming together, the 1st child will have to pay "Child with Bed: price and the 2nd child will pay "Child without Bed" price.
  • Child without bed is an individual under 12 years of age sharing the room with 2 full paying adults and without a bed / cot.
  • In case of 3 adults OR 2 adults + 2 children OR 2 adults + 1 Child with bed in a room, 2 queen sized beds will be provided.
  • Maximum of 3 adults are allowed per room.
  • Additional supplement on account of fuel hikes and taxes as and when received would be applicable with immediate effect.
  • Once an air ticket is issued, date change penalty and rerouting charges (as applicable) will be charged.
  • All meals mentioned in the itinerary are pre-set and a-la-carte is not possible.
  • Any damage caused to the hotel/coach/restaurant of at any other venue shall be borne by the concerned passengers.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damage, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, irregularity which may occur in carrying out tour engagements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers.
  • Subject to availability of flights and connections, passengers from other cities can take this tour from their cities by paying an additional amount as applicable per person, plus airport and Government taxes.
  • The management deserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedule of train, airplane, coach, ship or any other service.
  • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc not utilized on your tour.
  • For convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However the services remain unchanged.
  • The right to vary, amend, alter or withdraw any particular itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand of a particular airline the in / out points may change. Services however will remain unchanged.
  • The Local representative and driver will do their best to take you to as close to the monuments as possible, as because in some cities coaches are restricted.
  • On certain days, when certain attractions, monuments, museums etc are closed, the Tour Manager deserves the right to amend the itinerary / cancel the visit
  • The tour price mentioned is applicable provided there are 2 full paying adult passengers on the tour departure.
